Overnight Stays

Woodpeckers is primarily a private members club consisting of permanently sited static caravans, touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans.

Subject to availability, we welcome overnight stays, or, we have our own large static caravan available for weekend & midweek rent

Our gravel and grass touring pitches are available 7 days a week.

Day visit bookings are encouraged to gain experience of Woodpeckers and our facilities.

We have gravel & grass pitches for touring caravan, campervan or motorhome.

Average size of gravelled area 9m x 5.5m plus at least 9m x 4m grassed area . They have a water tap on pitch and electric hook-up close by via a standard household 3 pin socket. See site plan

There are two grassed areas to pitch multiple tents with access to electric hook-up via a standard household 3 pin socket. Water is easily available from the Clubhouse. See site plan

Washing up facilities are available in the Clubhouse kitchen.

We are open for day visits and overnight stays between April and October.

The Clubhouse has a well fitted kitchen with fridge freezer to store small volumes of food. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, multiple microwaves, multiple kettles and toasters. Crockery, cutlery and glassware is available for use.

The clubhouse has super fast Wifi available at up to 100mbs.

Our super fast WiFi is now available site wide, including the visitors pitches.

There is ample seating inside the Clubhouse and picnic benches on the lawn.

Pitches cost £30 per night and include water and electricity.

Pitch fees are for 2 adults and two children on the same pitch.

£14.00 per night per additional adult using the same pitch.

Arrive from 11am, vacate the pitch by 11am on departure day. (please annotate your eta on the booking form)

Separate chemical waste disposal next to the shower & toilet blocks for Green chemicals only

The use of all facilities is in included in the overnight rates.

All pool users must shower before each entry to the pool.

Showers are free of charge with soap supplied.

It is advisable to bring torches to find your way around site at night, it gets very dark with little light pollution around us.

To protect the local wildlife that visit site, strictly no pets permitted on site

All visits must be pre-booked and paid for at least two weeks in advance by BACs transfer (bank transfer)

Applications for membership are considered only after several trial visits are completed (up to 5). Trial visits can be accumulated through day visits or overnight stays.
